What are our delivery charges? 

As a furniture company, we base our delivery charges on how much your order weighs. The weight of each product will be listed on the product page. Please see the below table for details of our delivery charges. Delivery charges will be automatically calculated at checkout.

Trade and Large Volume Orders

Please note: We reserve the right to review any orders that we deem to be a trade order or large volume order. In this situation, we will reach out to the customer to agree on a custom delivery charge in order to complete the order. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order that we consider to be a trade order or large volume order and the customer will be notified of this prior to cancellation of their order. If you would like your furniture assembled upon delivery by our experienced furniture delivery partners, simply select the delivery & white glove assembly option at checkout. Assembly is £79.95 per item. 

If you have ordered more than one item but only want part of your order assembled:

In these instances please select the delivery only option at checkout. After you have placed your order, please complete this form. Our Customer Service team will then generate an invoice for you to pay your partial assembly fee. Please note that if you have not paid the assembly fee before your delivery date, your order will not be assembled. We recommend paying the fee as soon as you receive your invoice.

Remote Zones:

To allow us to deliver to certain postcodes in more remote areas, it is necessary for us to implement a surcharge. Please see details of the different zones below.

What is the 2-Person Delivery Service?

Our two person delivery service includes the following:

  • A three-hour pre-arranged delivery window for every order

  • Delivery on weekends is available with limited availability

  • Real time delivery updates can be obtained via our delivery hotline

  • Multiple sized vehicles to cater for houses with restricted access or small access roads

  • Delivery to a room of your choice

  • Delivery up multiple flights of stairs is available but with limited capacity

Please note: Our delivery team is not able to take away packaging at the time of delivery. This is due to the fact that should you choose to return your order, it should be packaged in the original packaging.  

How long will delivery take?

Out & Out are delighted to announce that we are offering next day delivery as standard! So what does this mean? Well, almost all of our in stock products will be delivered to a room (or garden!) of your choice the very next day, for no extra cost.

Please Note: Items within the Accessories category will be delivered by Yodel within 72 hours and are not eligible for Next Day Delivery, unless they ordered alongside additional items.

Bundles/Packages/Multiple Product Orders: If you are ordering one of our bundles, packages or your order contains multiple products where (at least) one item is on pre-order, please note that we will deliver all items together once the item on pre-order arrives into our warehouse. If you prefer to receive your order in separate deliveries as soon as they are available, please contact [email protected]. Choosing to receive your order in separate deliveries may incur an additional delivery charge.

Delivery timeframes are based on customers accepting the first delivery slot they are offered. Our delivery partners endeavour to deliver all orders as soon as possible but please be aware that If you do not accept the first delivery slot you are offered then delivery of your order may exceed the stated timeframe, particularly for deliveries in Scotland.

When do I have to place my order in order to get next day delivery? 

To guarantee delivery the next day, we ask that you place your order no later than 10:30am. If you do not place your order before this deadline, your order will be delivered the day after.

Do I have to pay an extra fee to get next day delivery?

Here’s the good news: we’ve introduced next day delivery at no extra cost. This means that you can get your furniture faster than ever for the same prices as before. For details of our delivery charges, please refer to the 'What are our delivery charges?' section at the top of this page.

Is everything available for next day delivery? What about pre-orders and made to order sofas?

There are a very small number of clearance products that we cannot deliver the next day, but don’t worry, this will be made clear at checkout and these items will be delivered in approximately 10 days. For our pre-order and made to order sofa/armchairs policy, please see the applicable sections below.

Are there any postcodes you cannot deliver to the next day?

Please note that our delivery partners do not make daily weekday deliveries to the following postcodes. As such, orders delivered to these postcodes are likely to experience a slightly longer delivery time than our standard next day delivery service: BT24-25, BT30-35, BT-42-44, BT-45-49, BT51-57, BT60-77, BT78-82, BT92-94, FK18-21, G84, GY9, GY10, HS1-8, HS9, IV1-28, IV30-36, IV40-63, KA27-28, K1-17, LD, LL35-36, PA20-38, PA41-49, PA60-78, PA80, PH1-50, SA19-48, SA61-73, SY17-20, SY24, TR21-25, ZE.

Does your next day delivery policy include weekends?

While our delivery partners cannot guarantee next day delivery for orders placed on a Friday and Saturday, this can often be possible and is at the discretion of our delivery partner, usually dependent on location. We recommend placing your order before 10:30am between Sunday-Thursday to guarantee next day delivery.


If you are ordering a product on pre-order, the time you can expect delivery will be stated below the ‘pre-order now’ button and delivered to you within this specified timescale. When your furniture does come into stock, our team will check that the order is correct and then hand it over to our dedicated delivery planning team who will reach out to you to arrange your delivery. 

If you order multiple items on pre-order, it is very common for each item to have its own, different, lead time. In this situation, we will hold all the items until the last item has arrived in order to deliver your complete order at the same time. If you require individual delivery of each item, we can do this but there may be an additional delivery charge for the multiple deliveries we would then need to make.

Made to order Sofas & Armchairs:

Aside from our Fast Delivery and Sale sofas, all of our sofas and armchairs are made to order for each customer in your chosen style and fabric. Please see individual product pages for our current delivery time for made to order sofas and armchairs. 

As each sofa order is produced for a specific customer and we do not hold stock of sofa at our warehouse, the normal cancellation period provided under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 does not apply and we are unable to cancel an order unless in exceptional circumstances deemed by one of our highly trained customer service staff. Instead of cancellation, we do offer a 30 day comfort trial where if after 30 days you are unhappy with the comfort of your sofa then you will be able to return it for a refund less our cancellation fee. 

 At Out and Out Original Ltd we have dedicated staff who manage our sofa order process from the placing of the order to its delivery and will be in regular contact with the customers to update on what stage your order has reached and when its estimated shipping date and estimated delivery date will be. Other Important Delivery Information:

What if I am not at home when the delivery is made? 

In the event, you have an agreed, pre-arranged delivery slot with our courier company (which has been confirmed via email and SMS), but you are not available at the delivery address at the agreed time slot, we may insist on a re-delivery charge of £39.95, depending on your circumstances.  If you are not present at the delivery address to receive your delivery at the agreed time slot and you subsequently decide to cancel your order, we will charge a cancellation fee of £39.95.

What if I have confirmed my delivery booking or refuse to accept the delivery when it arrives, and I then want to cancel my order?

Once you have confirmed your delivery booking with our courier and they have designed the delivery route around your confirmation, if you wish to cancel your order completely, we must charge a cancellation fee of £39.95. In the event you simply want delivery on a different date, you are free to request this, but a complete cancellation will result in a cancellation fee.  

What happens if there is restricted access to my home such as via a staircase?

Health and safety standards do not permit our dedicated delivery company to deliver upstairs, particularly when to do so when not only endangering the safety of the delivery staff but also potential risk damaging the product or your home. For this reason, we recommend that if you live in a home with restricted access that you contact our dedicated delivery company after placing your order to discuss the restrictions as in the event delivery is attempted and preparations have not been made, the delivery will be denied and you will incur a £39.95 failed delivery fee.

We will always do everything we can to make deliveries up staircases and we do this regularly but the limitations have to be communicated clearly and honestly so that we can correctly prepare our staff. 

Can I add your assembly service to my order after it has been placed?

 If you would like your furniture to be assembled, we always recommend selecting our White Glove Service delivery option at checkout when placing your order. If you would like to add assembly to your order after it has been placed, you are able to do this as long as your delivery has not been booked. To do this, please contact us at [email protected] quoting your order number as soon as possible. Once your delivery has been booked, unfortunately it is not possible to purchase assembly as the routes and time allocation of our delivery teams will already be in place.
